did they know my love that you were my life
did they know my love that the sun and moon rose and set by your smile
did they know my love that my very breath depends on you

he was not just any child he was my child my life my breath my love he was not a blob of clay for you to mold he was a living breathing human being whose smile lit up a room whose laughter filled my heart with gladness

do you know what you have done when you let the light drift from his eyes
do you know what you did when the breath flew from his lips
do you know what you did when his warm skin became cold

My heart used to be full of gladness and love now is filled with hatred and saddness my life used to be full of everything my days filled with his laughter and love of life do you know what you have done

I used to snuggle with him so warm so sweet smelling my body filling with his energy now no warmth only long black days till i see him again do you know what you have done

my problems seem so small
The rewards you have to offer us
are so big and tall
As I watch you sleeping
I realize just how great your accomplishments are
I know how much you struggle
to have made it this far
As I watch you sleeping
I cant imagine how my life would be without you
Even though the hard times
I's be lost without you
As i watch you sleeping
I see just how much you have brought into my life
all the joys and happiness
all the wonder and excitement
As I watch you sleeping
I am overcome with such LOVE
Your sweetness and happiness
are something Icant get enough of

I think just how lucky we are
to be the parents of such
a beautiful little girl
AS I watch you sleeping
all of my worries seem to melt away
I know that no matter what happens

Praising the Lord and watching the tide roll in
Friends that have gone on, oh how I miss you so And somehow I know if you could, that you would let me know
That you're doing fine and it doesn't anymore
Things couldn't be better and Heaven is worth waiting for
